(VIDEO) Officer Helps Girl Say Goodbye to Navy Dad
A Navy ship was departing for an extended tour in the Pacific, leaving families on the shore waving goodbye to their loved ones. Among them was a four-year-old girl, her tiny voice calling out to her father as he stood on the deck.
Seeing her struggle to make herself heard, a nearby police officer stepped in with an unforgettable act of kindness. He handed the girl his PA system microphone, amplifying her heartfelt words of love across the water: “Goodbye, Daddy! I love you!”
