In yet another entertaining moment on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin had to read off yet another legal note after she made a false, or at least misleading, claim about President-elect Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth. That embarrassing incident came on Monday, December 2. As with past incidents, this one came when the co-hosts discussed Trump nominee Pete Hegseth, a combat veteran and Fox News Channel host Pete Hegseth, who has been accused of various bad things, mainly related to drinking and sex, much like Brett Kavanaugh was during his confirmation hearing. Hostin, after yelling about Hegseth’s background, had to read off a legal note, which she did in deadpan, saying, “Pete Hegseth has denied any wrongdoing. His lawyer said he paid the woman in 2023 to head off the threat of a baseless lawsuit. In a shockingly tasteless and out-of-touch moment, even for her, Nancy Pelosi had a “deplorable” moment of her own when she casually slandered half of the country, saying that support for Trump is a “cancerous situation” in America and that they don’t care about basic values or human decency. That came during an interview with Bloomberg Television, in which the richly adorned and aging member of Congress showed how out of touch she is with a horrendous and vicious attack on former President Donald Trump and his supporters, essentially arguing that they are awful people for their views. The interview was conducted by Bloomberg report Francine Lacqua and occurred in Venice, Italy. Beginning, Rep. Pelosi claimed to have been a steady opponent of Trump, saying, “I didn’t stand up to him many times. I stood up to him once. It lasted a very long time.” Then, emphasizing why, Rep. In a recent interview with NBC News’s Kristen Welker, President-elect Donald Trump described how he would move “very quickly” to address those currently imprisoned for participating in the protests of January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol.  Trump explained to Welker that he would pardon all the J6ers on his first day as the sitting president. The incoming president told the reporter, “I’m gonna look at everything. We’re gonna look at individual cases…but I’m gonna be acting very quickly.”  Clarifying Trump’s timeline, Welker asked, “Within your first one hundred days? A Mexican actress recently died after participating in a spiritual cleansing ritual where she consumed venom from a poisonous frog from the Amazon rainforest.  Reports indicate that 33-year-old Marcela Alcázar Rodríguez participated in the dangerous cleansing activity that is practiced by South American natives to rid the body of toxins. However, after consuming the poison, Rodríguez reportedly began to throw up and have severe diarrhea.  As her condition began to worsen, the actress sought medical help, but was unable to be saved.  The Mexican production company Mapache Films addressed Rodríguez’s death on social media describing her as a “beloved colleague and friend.’ “With deep regret, we mourn the death of our beloved colleague and friend, Marcela Alcázar Rodríguez,” the company said. “Her passing left an immense emptiness in our hearts and in our professional community. In a quite wild moment for American politics, a Democrat state lawmaker in New York is now calling for four of America’s northeastern states to secede from the United States of America and join with Canada to resist President-elect Donald Trump now that he is reentering the White House after winning the November 5 presidential election. That New York lawmaker is State Sen. Liz Krueger (D-28), who has been pushing both for the state secession movement and for a scheme that would withhold over $300 billion in federal taxes to resist President-elect Donald Trump. She not only has pushed these ideas in the past, but recently defended them when speaking in a conversation with Politico. The matter started in September of 2024 when State Senator Kreuger spoke with City and State New York.com in an interview about a potential four-state secession movement that would see New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Connecticut leave the United States to join Canada if Donald Trump won the election.
