Riona was cruelly set on fire — after a year of recovery, she’s finally going to her new home

It’s truly heartbreaking how cruel some people can be to animals. A sweet dog named Riona endured unimaginable suffering when her owner brutally set her on fire last year. Almost exactly a year after that horrific event, Riona is finally heading to her new forever home. In June, residents of Nutbush, Tennessee were horrified to witness Riona, a pitbull mix, running down the street engulfed in flames. The overwhelming smell of gasoline made it clear that she had been intentionally set on fire. “All you could smell was gas,” said Mallory Mclemore of Bluff City Veterinary Specialists in an interview with Memphis Commercial Appeal. “She was burnt and covered in diesel fuel… It was clear she had been set on fire, as confirmed by witness statements,” said Ginger Natoli, founder of Tails of Hope Dog Rescue, in a conversation with Newsweek. “We also obtained ring camera footage from a neighbor showing her running in a ball of flames.” Although Riona’s ear was burned off, her left eye was fortunately saved after immediate medical treatment. She was taken in by Tails of Hope Dog Rescue and received extensive care at Bluff City Veterinary Specialists, including full-body wraps twice a day to… CONTINUE READING…

Tom Cotton Demands Answers After West Point Caught “Apparently Lying” About Pete Hegseth

Sen. Tom Cotton Demands Investigation After West Point’s False Statement About Defense Nominee Senator Tom Cotton has criticized West Point for providing false information to ProPublica about Pete Hegseth, the nominee for Secretary of Defense. Initially, the academy claimed Hegseth never applied to West Point, but records show he was accepted in 1999 as part of the Class of 2003, though he ultimately chose not to attend. In a letter to Superintendent Lt. Gen. Steven Gilland, Cotton described the situation as “concerning,” accusing the academy of either gross negligence or outright dishonesty. Cotton noted the statement may have violated Hegseth’s rights under the Privacy Act of 1974 by sharing personal information with the media. He demanded a full investigation into how the error occurred and why it was shared with what he called a “left-wing outlet” in a political “hit piece.” The Army has since issued an apology, acknowledging the mistake as an “administrative error” that occurred after an employee reviewed incomplete records. A spokesperson confirmed, “Mr. Hegseth was offered admission to West Point in 1999 but did not attend. We take this situation very seriously and deeply regret the error.” Hegseth has since addressed the controversy and his nomination… CONTINUE READING…

Farmer And 16 Cows Found Dead, Cause Of Death Finally Discovered

A tragic event on a Wisconsin farm claimed the lives of 29-year-old farmer Michael Biadasz and 16 cattle due to gas poisoning. The incident occurred when unusual weather conditions created a “deadly dome of air” in a manure holding tank, trapping toxic gases. Michael’s father, Bob Biadasz, explained that although the tank had been safely emptied in the past, this rare combination of factors proved fatal. In honor of Michael, the Biadasz family displayed tractors and farm machinery along the road leading to the farm. This tragedy has prompted calls for stricter regulations on manure holding tanks to prevent similar accidents. The United States Military Academy West Point has recently come under fire for giving false information to a journalist attempting to write a critical piece about President-elect Donald Trump’s selection for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth.  Many have since spoken out against the prestigious institution calling for those involved in the incident to be held accountable. For context, a journalist with the outlet ProPublica had reached out to West Point to verify claims Hegseth had previously made, claiming to have been accepted at the military academy.  In response, the university responded, claiming that its records indicated that Hegseth had never even applied.  However, Hegseth eventually shared his West Point acceptance letter from 1999, giving concrete proof that his claims were accurate. Subsequently, conservatives on social media sounded off on West Point over the false information.  “Officials at the U.S. Military Academy should not be feeding lies to left-wing reporters about President Trump’s nominees,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said on X. “West Point needs to thoroughly investigate this egregiously bad judgement and potential violation of the Privacy Act immediately.” on the response to the attempted hit piece about him. “We understand that ProPublica (the Left Wing hack group) is planning to publish a… CONTINUE READING…
