Unexpectedly, Melania Trump has returned to the public eye.
The former First Lady has issued a statement addressing the rumors that have been circulating about her recent absence.
Concerns regarding the 54-year-old’s whereabouts started to surface for those who haven’t been following along after she missed a number of significant events connected to the Trump circle.
First, Melania, who has an 18-year-old son named Barron with the 47th president of the United States, was conspicuously absent from a meeting that Trump held with a number of world leaders earlier this month (February 4).
She was also allegedly absent from last weekend’s Super Bowl celebrations and a formal dinner that Trump threw for Republican senators and their spouses at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

Last month, a portrait of Melania was uploaded to the @flotus Instagram account, marking her most recent online appearance.
Recently, a worried fan posted on X (formerly Twitter) and inquired, “Does anyone know where Melania is now? She was by his side once, but now she’s just… gone. I miss having her around!
The sentiment was repeated by another: “Where is Melania? Her last public appearance was quite some time ago.
Melania is still alive and well in spite of the circulating rumors. She finally spoke this week when she confirmed that, after the Trump family’s transition period, public tours of the White House will soon resume.

Melania expressed her joy at the resumption of White House tours by saying:
“The President and I are ecstatic to welcome guests back to discover the amazing history of this iconic and historic residence.”
“The White House offers a unique, first-hand experience that teaches you a lot about the American presidency, the First Families who have lived here, and the rich history of our country.”
“This tradition is unique in the world, and we are honored to continue it for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come here every year,” she added.

Since her son Barron is presently enrolled at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Melania has reportedly been spending a lot of time in New York.
Melania’s response to the question of where she intends to spend the majority of her time was:
“I’m going to the White House.” And I’ll be in New York when I have to be there. I’ll be in Palm Beach when I have to be there.
“Being a mother, a First Lady, and a wife are my top priorities,” she continued
