The students, all enrolled at Lucky Vincent Primary School in Arusha, were on their way to take a crucial mock national exam, an important milestone in their educational journey promising new opportunities. KERRVILLE, Texas — Kerrville Mayor Joe Herring and Kerr County Judge Rob Kell have released the names of those who died in the devastating July Fourth floods that swept through the Hill Country. On Friday, the Texas Rangers confirmed the identities of the victims from the deadly holiday weekend flooding. “These names are not new to our community; they are our family, friends and neighbors, and they are forever engraved in our hearts,” the City of Kerrville said in a statement. Officials noted that two families are still searching for missing loved ones, holding out hope of bringing them home. The victims include several young girls who were staying at Camp Mystic when the flood hit.
