Unfortunately, her chemotherapy treatment was unsuccessful, and the cancer metastasized to other parts of her abdomen.
Despite her health challenges, Spencer became a passionate advocate for cancer awareness and urged others to undergo regular screenings. She emphasized the importance of getting a colonoscopy at the age of 45, following updated guidelines, reflecting on how early detection could have changed her situation.
