Today marks another year of my life, a day typically filled with joy, celebrations, and the warmth of loved ones. However, this year is different. Instead of basking in the comfort of my home, surrounded by friends and family, I find myself in a hospital room. Though this may not be how I envisioned spending my birthday, I’ve come to appreciate the day in a new light.
