On Tuesday, Simon Ateba, a reporter from Africa, finally snapped and lashed out at Biden’s Press Secretary, Karine Jean Pierre. What sparked his fire and fury was her repeatedly dodging questions relating to Biden’s document scandal, particularly her misleading reporters as of late. In fact, Simon was so furious that he told KJP, to her face, in front of all the other reporters, that she is unfit for her job. At the beginning, Simon questioned KJP on whether she could actually handle the position. He said, “Karine, since you don’t have any answer on the classified documents, you don’t seem a good fit for this job. We do not seem to have any answer from you.” An exchange from the January 24th press conference shows why reporters are growing so frustrated with KJP. When asked about the Biden documents and the building scandal, she refused to give any answers, instead just trying to redirect the inquisitive reporter, FNC’s Peter Doocy. Vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently trolled presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, who hid in her plane as he attempted to speak with her. Vance walked over to a gaggle of press on the tarmac and explained that, other than greeting Harris, he wanted to go inspect Air Force Two, which he claimed would be “his plane” in just a few months. “I just, I just wanted to check out my future plane, but I also wanted to go say hello to the Vice President and ask her why Kamala Harris refuses…Why does she refuse to answer questions from the media?” Vance said calling out Harris for refusing to take questions from the press.  “And I also thought that the press gaggle following her might get a little lonely,” he added. Jessica Tarlov is back on Fox News Channel’s “The Five” after maternity leave (she gave birth to a son on April 11), and she is already sparring with her more conservative fellow co-hosts, namely Judge Jeanine Pirro, Greg Gutfeld, and Jesse Watters. One such recent fight was over Trump’s bleach comment, which Tarlov misrepresented, and another funny fight came over whether Republicans or Democrats are more full of crazies. The fight over crazies came when Gutfeld called on Tarlov to denounce, or at least reject, the crazy people in the Democratic Party, which she supports, and said that he would do the same regarding crazy Republicans. Tarlov then told him to reject Trump, who she called crazy, which led to a spat over Trump and Democrats like Gov. Walz. Beginning, Gufteld said that the Republicans are good about rejecting crazy people and that Democrats need to start doing the same thing. He said he would reject crazies. On the outskirts of a desert trading village high on the Andean plain, steel giants have been destroyed by salt winds.  It’s a cemetery for trains, for locomotives. And it’s so big that it looks as though all of the trains in South America were moved to Uyuni, Bolivia, to chug their last chug. It’s only about 3 km away from the Uyuni train station. Filled with hollowed out bodies that have completely rusted over and other remains, the “Great Train Graveyard” (also known as Train Cemetery or ‘Cementerio de Trenes’ in Spanish) can be found on the otherwise deserted outskirts of Uyuni, a small trading region high in the Andean plain. Uyuni has long been known as an important transportation hub in South America and it connects several major cities. In the early 19th century, big plans were made to build an even bigger network of trains out of Uyuni, but the project was abandoned because of a combination of technical difficulties and tension with neighboring countries. The trains and other equipment were left to rust and fade out of memory. WASHINGTON – With just 90 days to go until the 2024 presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris announced who would be running on the ticket with her.  Speculation about who Harris would choose as her running mate began within days of President Joe Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the race and instead endorsing his VP, and with that came a spate of polls considering who would best bolster Harris’ chances against former President Donald Trump. Harris selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to join the ticket. During the January 10th White House Press Briefing, Fox News Channel White House Correspondent Peter Doocy pressed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre over the relationship between Hunter Biden and his father, President Joe Biden. His important line of questioning about what, if anything, Joe helped Hunter do led to a lengthy back-and-forth spat that ended in KJP trying to move on as other reporters laughed. That spat began with Doocy asking about Hunter Biden’s appearance on Capitol Hill. As background, Hunter Biden had appeared before the House Oversight Committee, then left within minutes as Reps. Nancy Mace and Marjorie Taylor Greene directed angry remarks his way. Rep. MTG later claimed that Hunter was “terrified” of what she might ask him. In any case, that incident from earlier in the morning was on everyone’s mind when Doocy asked the press secretary, “And Hunter Biden on Capitol Hill today. How big of a headache is that for you?” Sensing the humor in the question because of Hunter Biden’s antics, others in the room laughed. But KJP didn’t laugh nor did she play along. Appearing on Seth Meyers’ late-night show, NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” President Joe Biden spread a false claim about former President Donald Trump in an attempt to prove his claim that Trump is the one who is really suffering from mental decline. The president then proceeded to lose his train of thought, still while trying to attack Trump’s mental sharpness. That began when the host, Seth Meyers, raised the concern of many voters over Biden’s age, noting that it has become a “real concern for American voters.” Continuing, Mr. Meyers asked Biden how he plans to convince American voters that he is something other than senile and, despite his age, is able to run the country. Biden responded with an attempted attack on Trump that ended quite poorly for him. Beginning, Biden let loose with a false claim about Trump supposedly not being able to remember Melania’s name. He said, “number one, you’ve got to take a look at the other guy. Recently, a hilarious parody campaign ad for Vice President Kamala Harris was released and has taken the internet by storm.  Since Harris has stepped up as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee after President Joe Biden announced he would be dropping out of the 2024 race, she has faced intense scrutiny as the American public assesses the prospect of her running the country. The video, which was either created with artificial intelligence or a highly skilled voice actor, addresses several prominent criticisms of Harris. It opens by suggesting she was launching her presidential bid because of Biden’s apparent “senility.”  It further highlights her status as a minority and a woman, playing off arguments that Harris was a “DEI” selection as Biden’s running mate. “I, Kamal Harris, and your Democrat candidate for president because Joe Biden finally exposed to senility debate,” the video opened, addressing the president’s infamously bad performance during the presidential debate in late June, which ostensibly ended his participation in the 2024 race.   Following the debate, Biden faced calls from Democrats to step down for weeks leading up to his decision to withdraw. Surreal riveted sea forts once protected the Kent shores from German attack.  Rising from the water like rusty invaders out of H.G. Wells, the Maunsell Army Forts in the Thames Estuary are decaying reminders of the darkest days of World War II. Part of the Thames Estuary defense network, the anti-aircraft tower-forts were constructed in 1942, with each fort consisting of a cluster of seven stilted buildings surrounding a central command tower. When operational, catwalks connected the buildings. Built on land and then transported to their watery homes, the forts were designed by Guy Maunsell, a British civil engineer, later known for innovations in concrete bridge design. Originally there were three of these forts, but only two are left standing: the Redsands Fort and the Shivering Sands Fort. After their successful wartime career, the forts were decommissioned in the 1950s. The Nore Army Fort was badly damaged by both a storm and being struck by a ship and was dismantled in 1959-60. In the 1960s and 70s, the remaining abandoned forts were famously taken over as pirate radio stations. The micro nation Principality of SeaLand occupies a nearby Navy fort of a different design known as the Roughs Tower, also built by Maunsell. All… CONTINUE READING…
