Following the presidential debate debacle that unfolded late last month, Joe Biden is continuing to display signs of declining mental and physical health.  Such demonstrations of his advanced age are problematic for the Biden campaign as it attempts to recover ground and reinstill faith among the Democratic Party and American voters that the president is fit to serve as the commander-in-chief. Before the debate, President Biden spent the week at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, preparing for his head-to-head discussion with former President Donald Trump, where he had his schedule cleared until the event.  However, footage of Biden arriving at the retreat appeared to foreshadow what would unfold on the debate stage. According to RNC Research, an account run by the Republican National Committee that has consistently raised concerns regarding President Biden’s health shared a clip of Biden exiting his presidential aircraft.  The caption read, “Biden arrives at Camp David, where he’ll be holed away — and heavily doped up — ahead of the debate. The ruins of an Estonian prison are drowning in the quarry lake where the convicts were once forced to work.  It’s unlikely that those interred in this Soviet prison ever imagined that the quarry they were forced to work in would someday become a beautiful diving spot. But it’s a weird world, and time is long.  The ruins of the abandoned prison camp outside the small Estonian town of Rummu were once a dreaded stone edifice, but are now a beach attraction. The prison was already established in the 1940s by the Soviet Union. It was built in a convenient location, on the lip of a limestone quarry in which the inmates were forced to toil.  The seemingly impenetrable walls of the prison were not to last forever. When Estonia regained its independence in 1991, the Soviets moved out and many of their institutions fell, including the labor prison at Rummu. Both the prison and the quarry were abandoned in the changeover. Without anyone to look after the natural groundwater that seeped into the former quarry, it soon filled up with water, creating a new lake with alarming speed. Last year, a Florida teen brutally beat a teacher who had taken his Nintendo Switch away from him.  Six-foot-six, 270-pound Brendan Depa, who has turned 18 since the incident, was recently handed a five-year sentence for the crime he committed in 2023.  As Circuit Judge Terence Perkins delivered the punishment to the hulking teenager, he could be seen throwing his head back in dismay. Depa was charged with felony aggravated battery after he violently assaulted the paraprofessional Joan Naydich in a hallway inside of Matanzas High School in Palm Coast.  After Naydich had confiscated Depa’s gaming device, footage showed him running at her, shoving her to the ground.  Depa proceeded to stomp Naydich unconscious and punch her 15 times. “I counted 15 times that he punched her while she was completely unconscious,” Judge Clark said to the court during Depa’s trial. “But for those five people pulling him off, I don’t think she would be here today,” he continued, illustrating the sheer violence displayed by Depa.  Photos from the aftermath of the assault show the intense bruising Naydich experienced. Speaking Thursday, August 8, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” FNC host and former Trump Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany jokes about how to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election. She said that just getting Kamala off the teleprompter would lead to a certain victory for Trump. McEnany’s joke stems from VP Harris’s tendency to go on rambling word salads, not to mention her characteristic cackle, when she is speaking off of a teleprompter and has to try to answer questions off the cuff. McEnany’s point was that making her do that time and time again would very much help Trump. She said, speaking on “Jesse Watters Primetime” about that aspect of Kamala’s personality, that she is obviously trying to dodge questions for as long as possible. According to recent reports, famed motorcycle brand Harley Davidson appeared to take a significant hit from bike enthusiasts at the Sturgis festival.  Conservative activist Robby Starbuck recently exposed the company, calling out the CEO and his woke initiatives, which seem disconnected from Harley Davidson’s consumer base. A user recently uploaded a couple of photos from Sturgis. One photo shows the Harley Davidson section of the event, which is nearly vacant with nobody around. Another image from the same day shows bikers lined up elsewhere, indicating complete disinterest in the brand. “This is early afternoon Friday Aug 9th in Sturgis. Streets are loaded & one would think the Harley Davidson was evacuated for something,” Jimmy Gable wrote on X. “One user Very good and well deserved,” one person said in the comments section.  Another person seemingly congratulated Robby Starbuck for his work to expose Harley Davidson.  “Great work by Robby! Jessica Tarlov is back on “The Five” after maternity leave, and the usual sort of explosions from Gutfeld, Watters, and Pirro over her leftist comments are back in force. Recently, that took the form of Tarlov getting roasted over her attempt to defend Kamala’s running mate, Gov. Walz, who has been accused of “stolen valor.” As background, Walz, who formerly served as a sergeant major in the Army National Guard, retired and dropped out despite having two years left on his contract when the unit was to be deployed to Iraq, with many saying that he left his men in the lurch by doing so. He has also lied about his military service, saying he carried weapons “in war” when he never served in combat or during a war. Many argue that those exaggerations of his service and his leaving service when it would have meant war show that he has engaged in “stolen valor.” What sparked Tarlov’s comments was Sen. Commenting on the previous plans for Vance to debate Harris before she became the presumptive nominee, he said, “So here’s, here’s my offer to Kamala Harris, if she’d like to do a debate with me on August 13, I’ll do it. Right? We should do that. Right?
