European Country Announces Olympics Boycott in Wake of Shocking Opening Ceremony

Recently, the government of Slovakia announced that it would be boycotting the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics after the opening ceremony, which they described as an “insult” to Christianity.  Deputy Prime Minister Tomas Taraba of the leftist-populist government in Slovakia further blasted the display of “degenerate decadence” at the controversial opening ceremony. Subsequently, Taraba stated that he would cancel his trip to France, where he would attend the closing ceremony on behalf of his nation.  Many believe one of the performances, in particular, was an overt mockery of “The Last Supper,” a critical moment in Christianity in which Jesus shared his final meal with the apostles.  The Deputy Prime Minister has been covering specific duties in the wake of the failed assassination attempt against Prime Minister Robert Fico in May. According to a translation of the announcement Taraba made on Facebook, “The organizers of the Olympics in Paris, who prepared the abomination for the world the presentation of the piny LGBT ideology and an insult to the symbols of Christianity, sa today “they apologized to the Christians on to the whole world” for insults that they caused.” The statement added that Taraba previously planned to attend the closing ceremony,… CONTINUE READING…

“What Has She Actually Done?”: Mr. Wonderful Scorches Kamala Harris, Says “Happy Talk” about Her Will End Soon [WATCH]

Speaking in an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” with host Jesse Watters, famed investor and “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, also jokingly called “Mr. Wonderful,” sounded off on Vice President and likely 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, saying that the good press she has recently received will soon come to an end as people realize how awful it is. As background, VP Harris has had something of a honeymoon period with the media following President Joe Biden’s decision to drop out and name her as his chosen successor, but that is starting to come to an end as stories service about her horrible staff retention history and her limited accomplishments as a senator and vice president. O’Leary noted that Kamala’s brutally bad past will likely cause trouble for her in this election cycle, as she has a limited achievement history and has many bad policy decisions in her past. He said, “In the next two weeks, the happy talk is going to have to stop because someone’s going to sit her down and say, ‘let’s talk inflation, let’s talk border, let’s talk policy on energy. Let’s talk policy on foreign affairs.’” He continued, saying that Trump at least… CONTINUE READING…

WATCH: Tarlov Snaps and “The Five” Gets in Wild Spat Over “Insulting Kamala Harris”

Fox News Channel’s hit show “The Five” recently devolved into a wild spat when discussing allegations about Kamala Harris’ tactics she employed to advance her career.  The show is often known for its intense exchanges when the co-hosts discuss hot-button political issues, which was demonstrated when the panel addressed the topic of whether black Americans support Harris along with allegations that she had sexual relations with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. A criticism of Harris among conservatives is that she is an unqualified “DEI hire” who was only selected as President Biden’s running mate because she is a black woman who would appeal to the Democratic Party’s diversity interests. Jessica Tarlov, the dissenting liberal voice on the show, took issue with this claim about Harris. Tarlov claimed it was a “turnoff” to the black community for the GOP to make this claim.  She stated, “There is something crucial that Republicans keep doing that is a major turnoff to the black community, and that’s insulting Kamala Harris. You don’t take someone so meaningful to that community and say she’s a diversity hire.” Following this comment, co-host Jesse Watters jumped in, asking, “Can I speak for the black community for a… CONTINUE READING…

I am a lonely dog who has to be alone on my own birthday. ‎

Today is my birthday, but it feels like just another day. I’m a dog, and though my paws may be small, my heart carries the weight of loneliness. While other dogs might be surrounded by friends and treats on their special day, I find myself alone in the quiet of my little corner. The house is still, save for the occasional creak of the floorboards and the soft rustle of the breeze through the open window. I look around, wishing for the comforting presence of familiar faces. My humans are busy, and it seems that they’ve forgotten about this particular day that should be mine. I curl up on my favorite spot, a cozy blanket that smells faintly of home. The sun streams in, casting a warm glow over me, but it does little to chase away the feeling of solitude. I try to shake off the sadness, thinking of the simple joys of running through the park or the occasional belly rub. I am a lonely dog who has to be alone on my own birthday As the day goes on, I find solace in the quiet moments and the gentle patter of rain outside. Even though I’m alone,… CONTINUE READING…

THE BEST DIVORCE LETTER EVER! Dear Wife, I’m keeping in touch with you this letter to let you know

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. … Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want $ex or anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore; whatever the case, I’m gone.Your EX-Husband P.S. don’t try to find me. Your SISTER & I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life! Dear Ex-Husband, Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps… CONTINUE READING…

Rakotzbrücke Devil’s Bridge

Rakotzbrücke Devil’s Bridge

Nestled among the verdant foliage in Kromlau, Germany’s Kromlauer Park, is a delicately arched devil’s bridge known as the Rakotzbrücke, which was specifically built to create a circle when it is reflected in the waters beneath it.  Commissioned in 1860 by the knight of the local town, the thin arch stretching over the waters of the Rakotzsee is roughly built out of varied local stone. Like many similarly precarious spans across Europe, the Rakotzbrücke is known as a “devil’s bridge,” due to the colloquialism that such bridges were so dangerous or miraculous that they must have been built by Satan. While the bridge (as with all the others) was created by mortal hands, its builders did seem to hold the aesthetics of the bridge in higher regard than its utility. Either end of the Rakotzbrücke is decorated with thin rock spires created to look like natural basalt columns, which occur in many places in Germany. In addition, the curvature of the bridge is designed to be one half of a perfect circle, so that when the waters are still and the light is right, it creates the illusion of a complete stone circle. Today, the bridge can still be viewed in the park, but crossing the aging relic is… CONTINUE READING…

Today is my birthday but I have to stay in hospital

Today is my birthday but I have to stay in hospital

Today marks another year of my life, a day typically filled with joy, celebrations, and the warmth of loved ones. However, this year is different. Instead of basking in the comfort of my home, surrounded by friends and family, I find myself in a hospital room. Though this may not be how I envisioned spending my birthday, I’ve come to appreciate the day in a new light. The sterile white walls and the rhythmic beeping of medical equipment are not what I would call festive. Yet, as I lie in my hospital bed, I am reminded of the true essence of birthdays—not just as a celebration, but as a moment to reflect on the journey of life. This unexpected turn has given me a chance to contemplate what truly matters: health, resilience, and the love that surrounds me. My family and friends have made an effort to brighten my day, even from a distance. Their messages, calls, and virtual greetings are like rays of sunshine piercing through the hospital’s gloomy ambiance. Their thoughtfulness and support are more comforting than any party or gift could be. Today is my birthday While today may not have the typical birthday flair, it serves… CONTINUE READING…

James C. Flood Mansion

The James C. Flood Mansion is a historic mansion at 1000 California Street, atop Nob Hill in San Francisco, California, USA. Now home of the Pacific-Union Club, it was built in 1886 as the townhouse for James C. Flood, a 19th-century silver baron. It was the first brownstone building west of the Mississippi River, and the only mansion on Nob Hill to structurally survive the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1966. Description and history The Flood Mansion occupies an entire city block on Nob Hill, bounded by California, Cushman, Mason, and Sacramento Streets. The block is fenced on three sides by bronze fencing installed at the time of the mansion’s construction. It is a large masonry structure, three stories in height, its exterior finished in brownstone quarried in Portland, Connecticut and shipped around Cape Horn. It is an elaborate expression of Classical Revival architecture, with corner quoining, a balustraded roof edge, and windows framed by pilasters and elaborate pediments. The main entrance, facing California Street, is sheltered by a broad and deep three-bay portico supported by clustered square columns. The mansion was built by James C. Flood, who made his fortune in the silver mines of Nevada. His inspiration for the building were the Gilded Age mansions he saw on the East Coast of… CONTINUE READING…

Another Terrible Loss For The Bryant Family, Sending Prayers

Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, father of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and former NBA player, has died at 69. La Salle University, where Bryant played and coached, expressed that he “was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.” Fran Dunphy, La Salle’s head coach, mentioned Bryant had recently suffered a severe stroke. Since Kobe Bryant’s tragic death in a helicopter crash in January 2020, Joe Bryant had rarely appeared publicly. Kobe once praised his father’s basketball acumen, saying Joe taught him “from an early age how to view the game, how to prepare for the game and how to execute.” Joe Bryant was a standout at La Salle University, averaging 20.8 points per game. Drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1975, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers and other NBA teams. The 76ers acknowledged his impact: “Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant was a local basketball icon.” Doug Young, a former teammate of Kobe, remembered Joe as an exemplary “role model,” noting, “He made basketball fun and made us all want to be better.” Joe Bryant later coached at various levels, including the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. Arn Tellem, Kobe’s former agent, said, “Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant was a true… CONTINUE READING…
